Import your existing data

Worried about how to transfer your existing data into The Support Directory? No problem. As part of the set up, we will import any existing data – whether it’s in an excel spreadsheet or database. Let us do the hard work for you.


What use would an online directory be if you couldn’t find the right and relevant services? Make it even easier with our keywords functionality. During set up, we can pre-compile the directory with a list of commonly used keywords. All your organisations and services are then associated with a number of keywords.

Not got the right keyword in the directory? Simple. Add it to your Directory using the Keyword Manager – that’s if it isn’t already within the 1000 commonly used keywords that we already have within the system!

Age UK? We have already added the I&A enquiry codes supplied by National Age UK – this comes as standard so another thing you don’t have to worry about.

Information for your clients

Do you need to provide factsheets, leaflets and information sheets for your clients? With The Support Directory, we have over 500 information sheets already added that you can use – at no extra cost! What’s more, if you want to add your own, simply go into the Factsheet manager and add it there – either on a pdf or link it to your website or another external website.

Checking your data is still correct

One of the biggest headaches of managing information is making sure that as much as possible, you are giving the most up to date and correct data. We’ve tried to make this as simple as possible with our branded email templates. Simply send an email (branded as you) from the Support Directory to your list of contacts. They can then update the information and return this to you for your approval before it goes live. It really is as simple as that.

Staying in control

If it’s more than one person who needs to use the system, that’s fine. We’ll simply set up multiple admin accounts for you. What’s more, all user edits are logged so that you can keep an eye on what’s been changed and by who – allowing you to manage the process if necessary.
